The Schengen Area consists of 27 counties in which people have free movement between the internal borders of these countries. Governments, by having all individuals under the same judicial system and having the police’s cooperation, can control criminality and the external borders.
The 27 Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Almost most of EU countries, except Ireland, are part of the Schengen Area, and countries such as Romania, Bulgaria and Cyprus will be soon part of it.
Golden Visa holders will have the permission to travel visa- free to all these countries as per the following reasons:
- Borderless travel
Travel without border controls
- Everyday mobility for individuals
More than 3 million people travel every day for work, studies, or different reasons by crossing Schengen’s internal borders without any limitation or restriction.
- Tourism improvement
Having people travel easily and borderless between Schengen countries, the tourism industry has, and will gain, a tremendous economic boost in each of these countries which also leads to elevating their cultural landscapes.
- Economy boost
The improvement of the economy is not only because to tourism but, as individuals can live in one country and work in another one easily, this is obviously an enormous total advantage for citizens and businesses.
